Part of me wishes that my family would have stayed in the States.

I love my country... Incredibly beautiful, friendly, fairly open minded...

And yet even as I'm about to graduate (with decent/mediocre marks), i curse the substandard education i received here.

Lotsa love from the Great White North.

yup thats canada...

i partially blame my parents:

we moved away from my highschool that offered some IB courses and some AP

to a highschool that offered 2 AP courses

to a highschool that has none.

its just so frustrating watching such a small percentage of my peers appreciate their education.

And then they hold up the class, so that seventh grade math turns into stuff i learned in grade 3 in the states. and in grade 12 they can't spell 'orange'
AND I RESENT THEM FOR IT. READ A BOOK FOR FUCKS SAKE

What is this whole discussion about whether Canada is cool or not? Does it really matter? It's just another one of the countries grouped in that western way of thinking, it's not all that idfferent from the US and western Europe. Yes there are some striking differences between the different nations, but as a whole...
