He said she might be pregnant. I promised to be there for him, but part of me just wants to run away from real life problems.

She should get an abortion.

I really hope that I'm no part of this post...

oh please don't get an abortion. if they weren't responsible, deal with it.

don't you want this person to have a life and their child too? if they're not able to handle the responsibility of having a child, they shouldn't have one, for both of their sakes and the child's. and even if they give the child up for adoption, the parents will always have the stigma of being teen parents, do you want that?

okay guys, let's please not have another abortion debate.

Just think, both sides have something in common, we both want the number of abortions to reach 0.

Well, and if you don't, you're a sick freak.

pchis, that was somewhat belligerent as statements go.

well, what else do you say about someone who enjoys killing things?

I'm pro-choice, because I think it's the best for society, but I mean, if you think that having abortions are actively good things and that we should do them just cause it's fun...well...I think you deserve that belligerent comment.

stigma of being teen parents vs the stigma of being a baby killer.

woops. k, disregard that.

i guess this comes back full circle to god's plan for population control ie. homosexuality etc

But seriously, if you dont want ^ these crazy arguements to perpetuate like they did with the royal flaming of the legendary Original Poster of '06 in the great war of Homosexuality Justification, then dont start a crAzy debate

I'd just like to point out that "live and let live" means in nicer terms to stay the fuck out of other people's business. I can see how it could be a play on words in the abortion case, but it should probably not be utilized by pro-lifers.

oh know what am I doing, okay I'm not posting on this one anymore I swear.

basically, if you're against abortion, don't get one, but if others want to, just stay out of their lives.

gahh i hate the term "pro choice" its freakin pro abortion

Yes, well, I hate the the term "pro life" because that's not at all what "pro lifers" mean it to be. In order to be pro life, you've basically got to be like Mrs. Slusser and the rest of the true Amnesty International crew. You've got to be against abortion, against the death penalty, against world hunger, against war, against nuclear weapons, against poverty, etc. The list goes on FOREVER. To be pro-life, you MUST be anti-death by anything other than natural causes.

Pro-choice is exactly what it says it is: for choice. Personally, I'm anti-abortion. I don't think they're good and I don't think anyone should have them. But I'm still pro-choice; it's not my right to make it illegal for someone else to do that to themselves. Abortions are horrible, terrible examples of how technology hasn't improved medicine. But it's there for a reason.

Some people think abortions are immoral, but then some people think antibiotics are immoral too. No one has the right to hamper other people's freedom of choice and privacy based on theological grounds.
