It makes me sad when people say they hate their parents. You may be mad, but you most likely don't hate her.
I agree though- parents can be a pain in the everything.
This is like something I would post when I'm mad.
Parents deserve that special kind of love (born mainly out of proximity and indebtedness) that can never disappear - no matter how hard we try. They'll pull all kinds of crap between now and the funeral party, but you'll always love them and dang it, they'll deserve it. Whenever I get mad I just think of the sheer tonnage of poo they've dealt with, the innumerable carrot sticks and peanutbutter sandwiches. If anybody deserves unconditional status it's them.

My mom always threatens that by the time we're all out of college she's going to sell the house, buy a winnebago, and spend a month a time camping out in our front yards. "To get a return on my investment" she says.
Sometimes I think she's not kidding.
Don't worry OP, your parents are getting plenty of negative energy from all your fellow tangsters. Don't be suprised if they stub their a toe or spill their coffee tomorrow morning. That was us.

I knew a girl who lived in New York and she was really pissed at her mom so she yelled Fuck you! Go to Hell! out the door as her mom was leaving for work. Her mom worked at the Twin Towers. That was the day that the twin towers were hit and her mom died. She has so much grief from that. I fight with my mom all the time. I just make sure I make up sometime afterwards. (Even if it is the next day)
yea i didn't really mean it when i said i hated her, i was just really angry.
but i find it somewhat amusing that i thought this post wouldn't get ANY replies and it's gotten like 10. haha.
and don't worry, me&my mom figured it out. it's ok.
The moods of tangsters are widly varied and ultimately unpredictable ;-)
I'm glad you're settled with her. A grudge isn't a pretty thing.
