Do you flat out lie or stretch the truth? I am sure stretching the truth is very common, almost assumed. Working as an Admissions Officer is one lousy job: dealing with students, their parents, and the university. And, on top of that, lies.

hahaha, I hope pchis gets bitchslapped by any and all college admissions boards for what a jerk he's been to the posters on this site.

Honestly, man, if I knew you irl, I would do it myself.

Peter's got a point though. If you get caught lying outright on a college app, you're dead.

It's just dumb.

Stretch the truth maybe. Polish the references perhaps. But for goodness sake, don't outright lie. Especially if it's easily checked (president of a club/organization, captain of a team, etc).

Uh oh, the masses are rising against me.

Haha who are you anonymous that wants to bitch slap me?

I try not to be a jerk in sensitive areas, but mainly in debates I like being argumentative, annddd in cases like this I tell it how I see it.

But sometimes it's just so easy to be an ass online.
