I think it was just a "Yay it's the end of school!" thing for people. I secretly wanted to be on the inside of it and cover myself in paint, though.

It felt so good.
Really, it was just pure exuberance, joy, and eccentricity.
And fun.

It was a colorful way to express our feelings of joy after finally being released (at least temporarily) from the confines of school.
it was a return to our roots as Amazon Warrior Princesses and a way to say goodbye without being sappy.

in retrospect, it was sort of an anti-emo-day. which is appropriate for the end of school. although emo day (jan. 6) was a ton of fun too.
