I thought so too at first, but today I got up at 6 am and it was really nice.

my habits have rotated so i sleep during the day and am awake at night. I have become nocturnal. I noticed that if your sleeping till 12 or later then if you wake up at like 6 am the day seems really really long which is nice if you want to save it.

^ I'd like to counter that. Waking up at 6am and going to sleep around midnight makes for a plenty long day.

There's plenty of time to do everything that needs to be done, and then there's the added bonus of seeing the world before the heat of the day... that's such a wonderful, relaxing way to start the day :-)

In other words, I don't "sleep in" like the OP enjoys doing. It just doesn't mesh with my desire to balance relaxation and usable time.

Staying up 'till 4 AM and sleeping in 'till 1 is nice... for a little while, but you get that sense that you're wasting your time that you could be doing something productive.

yes I agree... I hate the feeling that I've wasted my day especially when I've got work at 3 Monday through Friday and I don't wake up until 11 30...

But it's nice to sleep when I need the sleep

I would blame it more on your lack of proper grammar and ability to express yourself with the English language than ??'s comprehension capabilities.

Honestly, I had a hard time reading your comment.

Oh dear, Anon 1... I sincerely apologize for my previous response.

As Graffiti postulated, I did indeed misread your post. Frankly, I barely followed it the first couple times I read through it before I posted, and apparently misinterpreted the issues surrounding your grammar and syntax.

However, I just re-read your original post a couple more times, and it did finally make more sense with regard to your followup explanation.

So... shall we strongly agree on our concurring opinions?

I find it physically impossible to sleep past nine. Most days, it's eight. Even if I go to bed at 2:00, I'm still up by eight.

Darn circadian rhythm, preventing me both from being a normal teenager and from getting the amount of rest that I need.

Perhaps if Box-box would sleep a little later, he'd be able to read and understand other people's posts :)

with me it's alway I'm up until 2 during the school year and then I wake up at 6 and then in the summer if I'm up to 2 I'm asleep til 12

why do we need sleep? I know that wee need rest but what in particular needs rest?

Good question... I just find it funny that teens need the most sleep out of anyone but yet we get the least most of the time
