I used to hate sewing, and now I know I can make a small business off of it. The business is picking up, but I still sometimes hate sewing. There are good things about it, but... I believe the only reason I'm still sewing is because I... need money.

Should I find a real job, and quit sewing, or should I keep a half happy-half not business which is getting me a lot more than minimum wage.

honestly if you find a real job, unless u get really lucky, u'll be stuck with a job u don't like at all, and get slightly more than minimum wage.

i'd stick with sewing

if you see a job that you think "OH MY GOD I NEED TO DO THAT" then maybe you should drop it.

But being half (I mean half, that's a lot) happy with a job that pays a lot more than minimum wage...count yourself lucky.

If you hated sewing to begin with why did you keep it up. Maybe it's the slacker in me but if something isn't enjoyable or rewarding right off the bat I usually drop it.

Honestly I'm all for handicrafts and shit, but you'll be making a heck of a lot more in an actual job. Who knows, maybe you'll even find work in a field with some actual promise that you relatively enjoy? Won't it suck when you go onto the market after college and your only job reference is a matching set of mittens?
