courage

a german teen-punk recently got bashed up by neonazis for the second time for the same reason: wearing a tshirt that said "against nazis". last year he lost his right eye due to a bottle to his face at a local fair. the family moved. now he felt safe again, went to a a fair with friends again, wore the same shirt, got attacked again and lost a tooth.

makes me wonder...

well, I don't want to get beat up by black people so I don't go around wearing "against nigger" t-shirts now do I?

hahaha nice point anon1

I mean...there's extremist everywhere. if you go to iran or whatever and say against the terrorists or islam fundamentalists they'll kill you too.

if I'm against gay people and i wore against the gays then people would probably do bad stuff to me. even in america...where we have protection of freedom of speech.

hopefully those people were punished that beat him up. Its your freedom of speech whether it says against the nazis or for the nazis. so hopefully its protected everywhere.

To Anon1: There's a huge difference between being against Nazis and being against black people.

well anon 3, there isn't just a huge difference between them, there are many differences between them, but there is one key similarity:

if you wear a shirt that says you're against them like you're some kind of badass that's against them, depending on the atmosphere and the group of people (becuase usually those skinhead neonazis are such nice people), you will probably get your ass kicked.

Yeah, it seems to me like this person could've expressed their viewpoints more positively, like wearing a "pro-jew" shirt or something. I dunno, to me, it seems like he was asking for it. And I mean, if he wants to ask for it, then that's great - plently of people have made history by asking for it. However, if he wanted to avoid conflict, he should've worn something that expressed a similar message without being a "hate" shirt - even if it is hating the Nazis.

For the record, great Queen Sekaf, but generally singling out a group for any reason isn't too helpful. Even if it's "positive".

"I'm not racist! I have 5 black friends! I mean.. I love black people!"

except that nazi isnt a negative term to the nazis. Nigger is a racial slur. theres a massive diffrence.
