Maybe barry bonds can help you, but if you're still looking for work, you're a little out of luck. Most businesses do most of their hiring for summer help around the end of May to the beginning of June. The earlier you start looking, the better. Good luck.

if you're just looking for something, look into volunteering.

there are so many opportunities everywhere, and many places would be interested in picking up long-term help at almost any point during the year.

however, if you want money, the pickings have become quite slim. most ways still open to you for that are informal contract jobs, such as babysitting or lawn mowing.

like the last two said, the places that hire seasoinally will have already set their employment weeks and weeks ago.

I was out and about today, and I saw some signs for businesses that are hiring. The Target in North Hills is hiring, as is the Panera at Falls of Neuse and Sandy Forks, near Raleighwood.

Hope that helps.
