Eh, I'm disappointed, but not terribly disappointed.
This just means that Carolina gets to win it at home, in front of their own fans. Think about it, would you rather they win far away in Edmonton where they're in danger of bodily harm - or back here in Raleigh where the celebrations will run all night long?
And we're SO much louder than Rexall, I don't care what the announcers say. Drunken Americans (especially Southerners) are louder than drunken Canadians - the inbreed politeness and dislike for excess kinda inhibits that.
^As a Canadian-born, naturalized-American citizen, I have to agree. The American national anthem is just so much more uplifting, even on a vocal, musical level. Plus, it's so much freaking harder to sing - the notes have a wider, higher range.
Like sithgirl said, as long as we split it on the road, we're golden. I would much rather win it in 5 and take it at the RBC Center. Much more fitting, don't you think?

Plus it's more interesting this way.. I was afraid there would just be a couple of game 2 repeats, and that's no fun!

Also, the national anthem in NC is "Dixie"
