It is not too late to appologize and work towards a better relationship. Everyone can forgive, it just takes your courage to admit you were wrong to her face.
Dude, give yourself a break. Everybody needs to center herself before she can give to the needs of others. Don't torture yourself about it; she will heal, you will heal, but before anything else, you need to do a little de-stressing.
