i feel the same way. of course, my "first love" has severely complicated my life ever since, but that's ok.

It doesn't sound stupid at all. It makes perfect sense (at least in my experience).
I wonder what second loves feel like. I wonder if I'll have one.
My "first love" if you can even call it that, is now my best friend who I consider a sibling more than anything else. Kind of weird.
My first love was organic fruit roll-ups. Alas, fruit roll-ups, how bitter is love lost to a bitter, unfriendly consumer market.
