ms nelson is totally horrible. She has to be the dumbest teacher i have ever had the displeasure to have. I dont care if shes just out of college or whatever. she can't teach, and I think im smarter then her. If i read the book and copied mr. ogren just like her, i would get more out of it then she does.

yeah, i'm getting really frustrated with her class. seems like shes suppose to be helping us with your college essays, but everytime we turn it in, she doesnt even correct it it seems like.
i had ms nelson last year, she was a terrible teacher. she doesnt teach. she just "gives advice" on how to make your writing better. but you get over it, and deal with it. the busy work and the bitchiness doesnt help in the end, but how are you supposed to teach writing anyway? you have it or you dont, simple as that. another point, she just had no concept of analyzing anything. she would treat us like "adults" for most of the school year, but when it came to discussing the scene in equus or watching apocalypse now she forbode, b/c we were only 18.
i wish she coul dhave fucking made up her imind, tha twould have made class much more enjoyable.

anon #1 is refering to the new Enloe Enviro teacher I suppose?
It is a frusterating situation, but I don't think anyone in particular is to blame, ESPCIALLY not our lovely super duper substitute. Stuff like this brings out the worst in everyone - Mrs. Nelson feels horrible all the time and has tons of work to do, and you ALL know that there are some students completely taking advantage of the situation and slacking off. I don't want to blame anyone, I just hope stuff gets better and I actually learn something.
