hey, i have a challenge for you.
tomorrow, go out of your way to smile at a stranger, and sit with someone you don't know at lunch tomorrow--or invite someone who looks a little lonely to sit at your lunch table.
give a hug to a friend you haven't talked to in a while, and tell the people you care about how much they mean to you.
all because you can.

yea the whole lunch thing would be bad for you and them, no one likes to be a pity friend.
its not pity....its being nice. if you actually talk to a lonely person you've never talked to before you might realize you like them a lot and become really good friends.
and that means the world to that lonely person.
