Am I the only person who is sorely disappointed with the new Enloe sports anchor?
He's not a bad guy... he... just... lacks... personality. Like... completely.

I was so amused when I read this. Because I know the sports guy read this. I would love to read his reaction.
The new sports anchor is awesome!
Of course it's not going to seem as if he's very good, now. He has nothing to work off of. There's no video. There aren't even any clips for us to look at while he's talking.
And let's face it, what is there to get excited about regarding Enloe's sports?
You mean lacks the complete and utter charismatic panache that our former sports anchor did? Oh, Heavens.
Seriously, I don't think you can really judge, seeing as you can't actually, well, see him.
PS: Because misunderstanding is surprisingly inevident (a word?) on tangst, I must add that the first paragraph of my previous post was facetious.

Regardless, I agree. He's relatively new to the job, and he's got nothing more than a voice to work with. I think he's off to a good start, personally.
What we really need to discuss is that... weather guy. C-Wizzle? Is he trying to become the new P-Dubs? Because P-Dubs didn't just become P-Dubs overnight. He had to go through three years of heckling before he became regarded as the Man, the Myth, the Legend.
But I do think that the weather, in general, is more interesting than Enloe sports. This new weather man has more material to work with than did the old sports anchor. He might be off to a good start, so long as he doesn't overdo it.
What is there to get excited about regarding enloe sports?!? CROSS COUNTRY! seriously, we're really good. Granted that everyone's healthy for the next month, ours guys should be first or second in the state, and our girls will at least qualify. Everyone should be excited. I'm biased though.
Oh, also I like the sports anchor. He actually asked me once about meet results to make tsure they were right AND he came to our meet yesterday. No complaints here.
I didn't say he wasn't a nice guy and didn't try to get all the information I can... I mean, I know the guy personally, and I find him infinitely more fun in real life.
His intonation just seems to have dropped off when forced to read off a paper, screen, or what have you.
erm... all the information that he can... not I...

PS: fencing is exciting, too. :>
