Well do something. Even if it's just getting a group of friends together - her included. Actually seeing her will keep you in her thoughts because then she's done something with you. Yeah, there are other people around, but if you can stand out, that's great.
Pick up the phone, even if it's just to say "Hi, how was your day?" Sure women like the huge romantic gestures, but they tend to pick up on the little things too. And it's the little things, the little repetitive things, that they remember.

It seems kinda cheesy, but look at this website for tips: askmen.com. They've got an entire dating section with columns like "The Single Guy's Opinion," "The Single Girl's Opinion," and Doc Love's "The System."
As a girl that reads the website, I find a lot of the things they say to be embarrassingly true. (On that note, I think men should women's magazines and men should read women's magazines. They're a great way to get into the head of the opposite sex.)
Just pretend that she isn't attractive, It makes it easier to talk to her at first. Alot of the stuff womens magazines say is totally wrong. half the time they really over analyse men.
