I just went to a pro-ana website. Strangely, I was less offended by the stupid people who think that the Holocaust Victim look is "in" this year than by the atrocious spelling and grammar I found on the site.

anorexic people are just tring to make sure the rest of the world has enough food. They just dont want the poor kids in africa to starve, they are heros really.

If I didn't know people whose lives have been destroyed by anorexia, this might be funnier. Essentially, anorexia scares the shit out of me.

there are male's who suffer from anorexia and bulimia, but the statistic is like one percent or less. it's very uncommon.

alot of the pro-anorexia webpages often aren't created by actual anorexics, but instead people just looking for something to whine about (much like tangst). people who really have eating disorders and such don't usually believe that they have a problem.

If I recall, it is usually wrestlers that suffer from eating disorders when it comes to men. I would imagine male models as well.

jockeys. But also with guys they do the same thing but since ridiculously skinny isnt considered "desirable" for guys Its more an obsession with getting built and big muscles.

I'm pro ana. Just think of the money youd save on halloween costumes, just go as a skeleton. Instead of paying for gas they just wait for the wind to pick up and get blown away. you never have to pay for food. if it starts to rain you an take shelter under a street lamp.

That last comment wasn't funny. Eating disorders are not funny. End of story.

As for males with eating disorders, it's most publicly known about in wrestlers, jockeys, and male models. I'm sure it occurs in other men, but it's rarer. I knew a bulimic wrestler and I'm worrying about a friend who's a male model being anorexic.
