then you probably aren't ready. I think part of sex (which is what I am assuming you're talking about) is being comfortable enough with yourself and your partner to be able to share such intimate details - both physical and emotional.

Not that you're not allowed to share secrets. I used to feel this same way, too emarrassed about how I looked naked to let him see me that way. It wasn't till I finally did shed my clothes in front of him that I realized he thinks I'm beautiful no matter what--and your guy/girl will probably think the same way.
