No one cares what you think about people having user names.
If you don't like user names, don't get one, and don't inquire as to who everyone is. That alright with you?

the op seems to be complaining about the increased number of people who desire recognition as official contributors.
this is an interesting point.
the advantage official contributors get is the ability to post their tangsts directly to the main page and use fancy formatting tools for poetry and the link. that's it.
I disagree. The most common complaint is that Tangst is supposed to be anonymous, and the increased number of contributors means that there are fewer and fewer people that cannot be traced.
I could be wrong, but let's let the OP first.
