have you ever wished you could just bite back some words you just said? like, maybe just one or two, that would make a huge difference if you hadn't said them?

oh goodness, i feel like this all the time. It seems that if I just kept my mouth shut for like a minute everything would be just so much better.

I think everyone feels like this at one time or another.

Remember that post from a week or two ago where someone waved back at someone that wasn't waving at them?

This is the same kind of thing. In the motion picture of your life, it is things like this that make you cringe and laugh while watching it later.

Generally that happens to me after the fact. I'm just thinking about what happened to me that day or three days before or whatever and I think...wow, I could have really offended them.

I don't like that feeling.

I was at a service for temple and everyone was brought outside. It was really windy outside but it was spring so the temperature was just perfect. My friend's mother went and faced the group and let a handful of feathers go into the wind and told everyone to try and catch them. No one could. She explained to us that this was like trying to take back words that you regret. It was really beautiful. I know it sounds corny but it was nice. I am not even very religious or anything.
