Counting Blue Cars by Dishwalla.
Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve.
The Freshmen by The Verve Pipe.
If You Could Only See by Tonic.
No Rain by Blind Melon.
Mysterious Ways be U2.
Angel by Dave Matthews Band.
Nothing Else Matters by Metallica.

Some of these were picked because of the lyrics. All of these were picked because of the collective hours spent listening to them with him.

Oh, and add to that:

Every song off of every one of his mix CD's.

Bittersweet symphony by the verve or any slow, sweet, jazz song from when my grandparents were my age.

Dirty Little Secret - All-American Rejects

Forget It - Breaking Benjamin

Superman - Five for Fighting

Any song that starts with soft piano and ends with crushing brass on 89.7, or any loud semi-melodic guitar song on 96.1 in the depths of the night while I'm racing down the freeway trying to outrun my problems. although i might be the sheer act of the driving that makes me think of her, not the music. whatever.

DoctorAnonymous, I want to marry your musical tastes.

Elopement?

Yes, I said Roxanne. I can love a prostitute and lament that s/he doesn't see me as a reason to chuck the whoring lifestyle.

this is really pathetic, but anything off the soundtracks to POTC or LOTR, and sometimes Neutral Milk Hotel (i tend to digest whole albums, not specific songs)
