or pearl harbor day...or the date of any major attack on American soil...near the time of the event. Honestly, that might take up two minutes of conversation ("Hi, when's your birthday?", "Sept. 11", "Dude, that's messed up. What are you doing on Friday?").

in a few years (if that long) it won't matter. nobody remembers what happens on a given day after a while. it's just an eclectic interest.
My dad has his b-day on the 11th it kinda makes the day not as bad, butthe first couple years were really hard
In 7th grade, it was my best friend's boyfriend's birthday on Sep. 11. She was so worried about whether the card she had mae for him was good enough. Of course, it ended up not mattering. Neither of us have talked to him in years (it was one of those stupid middle school things), but I always wonder about him on Sep. 11 and how his birthday's going.
