It depends entirely on the pretenses of the hookup. Did you stare lovingly into each other's eyes, or grab each other in the heat of the moment and head for the nearest closet?
Depends on the girl, obviously. If you are unsure (or think she might be), you better talk to her fast and get things clear. The last thing you want is for her to think it meant something and for it not have to you - and her not know that. Eee, I hope that last sentence makes sense.
I hate the term "hook-up". I hate all of this teen promiscuity crap. Grr. Whatever happened to real relationship building? You know, that overromanticized stuff about courtship and the like? Why can't we be like that?

Anon4 who says we aren't into that? People tend to say your relationship "isn't serious" if you're not broadcasting the sex you're having, or other details, but you're right - promiscuity is crap. Relationships built on trust and friendship are much better.
But a relationship centered ONLY around trust and friendship is boring. You can have both, its ok.
Yep, for a great relationship there needs to be a fantastic connection... both physical and emotional.
Of course, promiscuity has its own problems... but who says only teens go through it?
