I stood up for you, when they called you a backstabbing whore. Even after you went out with the ex of your best friend who she still loved so much, even though she was the one person who would never leave you, i didn't hate you for it. sure i didn't approve, but i thought "she's not as bad as they say, it's okay with her friend, it's okay, she's an awesome person"

and now you say this about me...

it's not even so much what you said, it's just i really thought they were wrong about you.

and they weren't.

don't you just hate it when that happens?

I really wonder who these people are. Because anyone who knows about my situation could have written it. And I don't know how I feel about that at all.

Reality is subjective, always. That's what makes us human; that's how we define ourselves (or rather how Descartes tells us we define ourselves). And yes, it does suck when that subjective reality is torn down by the subjectivity (and, perhaps in this case, objectivity) of others. But we move on, make new friends, adapt. If you need something to make the whole situation brighter, go laugh in her face, call her a whore; she deserves it.
