"4 more months of hard work, and then you can be totally relaxed" says my mom.

BULLSHIT. B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T. By the time February rolls around it will be "AP study time!"

Plus, all of the fun stuff is in September/October/November. Wtf am I going to do in February?

I am so sick of being compared to my sister. "oh, well, you have so much less stress then your sister did because she was in IB. You don't do anything" WTF, just because i'm not in IB doesn't mean I don't fucking do anything.

You sure won't be studying for AP's at least. You must be new to this.

Don't stress out; teachers do enough review starting in March, and you don't need to really kick into gear until mid-March.

I sympathize with you though... There's plenty of work for a non-IB AP-laden student at Enloe.

In February, you WILL be in meymandi listening to a joint concert by band, orchestra, and chorus.

Seriously, I cannot wait to be a second semester senior. I mean, I won't let my grades go to hell. I don't think I could bring myself to do that. But to have the burden lifted...ah...it will be amazing.

hey man, i'm with you on this one.
my sister was the PERFECT girl and she did everything like a good little smart girl was supposed to do.
my parents are asian and i think the standards are even higher. 4 more months? try the next 8 years.

i try to console myself by doing fun things in between... give yourself a break now and then so that you can keep chuggin' through!

IB doesn't actually give you more work. Everyone else taking a demanding course load with extra curriculars has the same amount of work/stress that I do.

actually IB does give you more work. extended essay and extra tests. but thats it. all you have to do is when in your AP classes make sure that your essays and stuff fit IB requirements. but everyone does the essays so it doesn't matter.

It doesn't give you more work. Period. The extended essay I don't consider work, becuase you can write about whatever you want. It should be fun. Mine turned into a documentation of something very very important to me, and I thouroughly enjoyed writing it. I guess taking a test might be considered "work", but if you've already done all your studying for AP's, it isn't really. Just a time commitment.

"Just a time commitment."

so more work. dont be gay.

time commitment = you take a test, you miss school. not extra work in my book.
*insert comment about how it's incredibly immature/incorrect to use "gay" as an insult*

Oh, IB is more work, just not in the way it's meant to be. Those guys are the most creative cheaters at Enloe.

im in IB, and thats bullshit. at least, as far as the senior class goes. i dunno about 08, but we dont cheat.
