I think, at long last, I begin to see the benefits of a parent-free existence, and look forward to college life.

just remember to always call them at least once a week, and make sure you don't piss them off before the tuition bill comes.

I'm already seeing those advantages. My mom had surgery this week. I had to wake up at 4:30 every morning to drive my brother and then myself to school, go to rehearsal, do the wash, cook, and then do homework everyday. I know it's not as much as some people have to do, but it is a lot for me. To top it off, she has decided to cut down on my time on the computer. She almost ruined a friendship (through gossip) that has been there for years. I really don't want to live here right now.
