This can't be right.....I thought Honeycutt didn't teach Physics C! And it looks like either Keister isn't teaching GovPol anymore, or I didn't get him, at least. New teacher, by the looks of it.

Haha, looks like they still don't have a Latin teacher, though...

They got it right...

THEY GOT IT RIGHT

maybe there is a god...

1/2: AP Physics C (honeycutt)
3: AP Government and Politics (keister)
4: Magnet Computer Science Seminar (noland)
5: AP English (bauso)
ah, a five period day, what a wonderful senior year this is going to be.

I suppose I could have asked for Woolard (sp?) for physics or Lake for english, but at least I'm not in dire straits with Nelson.

Happy life!

But maybe I should be a bit more specific:

1/2. AP Physics C (Honeycutt)
3. AP Calculus AB (Lyttle)
4. AP Government and Politics (Wells)
5. Lunch
6. Latin IV (Apparently, they don't know who's teaching it)
7. AP English IV (Dickerson)
8. International Literature (Lake)

Basically, I handpicked my scheduled since I went in and talked to the new Dean of Students last week. So no complaints here.

1/2. AP Biology - Wood
3 AP Government & Politics - Keister
4. Cinema Ethics - Bauso
5. AP English Literature - Bauso
6. Lunch
7/8. AP Calculus AB/BC - Noland

Senior year is looking really good.

Oh, I logged in to check Hannah's schedule btw

1. AP French? Right now it's Psych and Lit which she might get out of.
2. AP MUsic Theory - Huss
3. Calc BC - Cryer
4. English - Lake
5. Newspaper - King
6. Band
7. GovPol - Keister
8. Independent Study Flute

Needless to say, she's psyched about independent study 8th, haha.

1- AP English 12, Achenbach
2- ICM, Krupa
3- Italian IV, Youssef
4- AP Psych, Peck
5- AP US History, Hoffman: what? I thought I was in the two period with him and Tisdale... did that not work out? I guess it won't be too hard to find an AP Euro in 5th period, if need be... but crap, I was counting on that two period to help prepare me for the APUSH test that I didn't take this year. Whatev. Something will work out.
6- Schedule hole, aka lunch if I can't get the two-period
7- Honors Anatomy, Ogren (Mrs, not Mr)
8- International Literature, Lake

Other than the Hoffman APUSH thing, score. Total score.

I'm liking my schedule, minus my run from constantine's to english in a pod between 2nd and 3rd. Plus, I got this wells lady for gov pol and that doesn't make me very happy.

Is AP Art History only offered 8th period?

Anonymous said...

Yes, 8th period is the only period AP Art History is taught.

Wah, either my schedule is too messed up to appear on SPAN or BHS is behind....*sniff*...curiosity is killing me

Anonymous said...

so i need to get my lunch changed to 5th but i don't know how i'm gonna get them to let me do that

Anonymous said...

^ they wont. live with it, 6th period lunch is fun.

Anonymous said...

SPAN somehow won't let me log in any more.

How is Bauso for English? I had Dickerson last year and was seriously hoping for him this year but, eh. Other than that... I'm loving my schedule. Lunch 6th period with a lot of the people from last year, looks like? Tinted and Box box and Sithgirl and all that. Yay. :D

is achenbauxh good, hard, sucky?

i have her for 11th grade english..

^ACHENBACH IS GOD.

Seriously. She will probably scare the living shit out of you for the first few days or weeks or months, but she is one kick-ass teacher once you realize that she's more authoritative bark than vicious bite.

Anonymous said...

Mine is pretty screwed up, actually.

Lake is generally considered the best in terms of English. Bauso is considered an excellent teacher, and I personally like dickerson. Basically you just don't want Nelson.

Swales said...

^Hey, Nelson is not a bad teacher. She's the head of the English department, after all. I had a mediocre elective class with her, but I have heard from many senior friends of mine that she is an excellent teacher, and that she will really help you prepare for college applications.

Anonymous said...

yea, i've heard nelson's a good teacher, but people just don't necessarily like the class...

i hear anderson for 12th english is really hard tho

TintedFragipan said...

Yeah, I've talked to a lot of people, Nelson doesn't sound that bad.

My brother used a minor schedule flaw to rearrange his entire schedule last year, with the sole purpose of avoiding having Anderson for English 12.

Rashi, Honeycutt has taught Physics C for a year or more. Last year, it was only a 1/2 class, while Woolard taught both 1/2 and 7/8. This year, I know for sure that Honeycutt is teaching 1/2 (from what you wrote) and 7/8 (what I have).

I weep for the lack of Woolard in my schedule, too.

Ty Tillett said...

what was the schedule flaw he used to change up his schedule?

Ty Tillett said...

does anyone have a 6th period spanish 2 class?

Anonymous said...

i love dr.bauso! seriously, he is the man... class is so easy and he is one of the coolest most layed back guys ever. ap music theory is second period this year??? what is the world coming to?

Graffiti Pastry said...

They gave me Honors Physics? Are you shitting me?

Oh man... and 5th period lunch to boot. Shoot me in the eyes, yeah?

Graffiti Pastry said...

Oh yeah... and Achenbach rocks. She is the most rocking teacher I've ever had. Ever. She's incredibly funny, her sense of humor has never come anything short of astounding to me. She barks a lot, sure, but she is the kindest and sweetest teacher. Laugh at the barking, and keep up the pace!

all my classes are in the west!

Morethanjustajock:

They put him in ICM and AP Physics C. Physics C requires calculus, so he tried to change into that. His precalc teacher refused to recommend him for calculus, so he had to change into honors physics. He managed to fold the rest of his schedule around that, carefully avoiding class with Anderson.

Anonymous said...

so, no anderson, but also no physics c, pretty poor tradeoff if you ask me.

thewordofrashi said...

Yes! sd, rashi, and iced t have lunch together!

Anonymous said...

yes i can easily skip photograpghy and go to lunch 5th and 6th

hey guys, honeycutt is a pretty awesome teacher. i had him last year and i thought he taught well. as for english, you'll definitely want to have lake, he's the man!
