I think I know who posted this. So much for being discreet. Haha.

Seriously, is this for real? Everyone hates their family sometimes. Granted, perhaps you were sexually abused by your father and your mother is a druggie who forgets to feed you, in which case you can ignore everything I say. I also hate my family sometimes, especially my dear mother, but when I think about it I would be completely devastated without them. As far as being misunderstood - EVERYONE IS JUST LIKE YOU! EVERYONE IS JUST LIKE YOU! Even Pink - the pop singer. She's just mizundastood. Like you. Everytime you say "I am alone, no one understands me", you join millions of other tragically priveledged teens across America in thinking that. Sorry to be harsh, especially if your Mom really is a druggie, but if I didn't say this, someone else would.

Well this certainly strikes one as a classically teen phrase, but can let that go for a moment and believe that the person who posted it really meant it without some sort of deep statment or sappy message. Can we just take it at face value and not make fun of it?

I'm sorry for you, OP. It's a classic problem, but that doesn't make it any easier to deal with.

I hope you find a way to make things better for both you and them. Make them understand. Find paitience for their quirks.
