It would make sense. Because we've lived 17 (15, 16, 18, whatever) years, each second is comparitively a lesser amount of our life than it was when we were five. In that sense seconds are becoming shorter and time seems to travel faster.
Then again, maybe you're just having more fun these days.
There are more opportunities open to us now, and more things to pass by, with more to miss, time seems more valuable and more metered.
Blissful ignorance seemed like paradise, no?
Actually maybe you are going crazy. Its really quite possible. I mean, if you really feel that time is continually moving faster, you may have one of those chemical disorders. I remember seeing a documentary on it. Supposedly, your brain continues functioning, except it tends to move towards a hibernation like state. The type that animals go into for their winter sleeps. Good Luck with your problem though.
summer is so short, i cant beleive it august already, im not ready.
I thought this was the generally accepted rule that most old people talk about.
I like Anon1's view better than PChis's view.
I can see PChis's theory working out with a longer span of time, like months or years, but our days and seconds are too numerous for us to really have any conception on how long they are relative to the rest of them?
