Not to be a flamer, but...

basically I've come to hate everyone who posts on this site. It used to offer catharsis for me. Now you guys annoy the hell out of me.

Fuck all of you.

Hah, I actually really agree with you. Then again, not to say I personally haven't committed said annoying acts, cause god knows I have.

I think I know what you mean, but could you define what you find annoying?

Should we take this opportunity to ask the users to calm down? to perhaps create some sort of rules besides what have currently been set down?

or do people like where Tangst is right now?

I agree. I used to love tangst because I felt that I could understand my peers on a level that we couldn't really talk about in person. Now it's all just catty.

hmmm i'm actually kind of getting tired of it too.

we seem to argue every little point into the ground and really... this site used to be about offering solace.

iuno. i've argued myself but maybe we should try to steer back towards the tangst of old.

I think that there's way too much argument and debate amongst commentors, but I think the community should go where the visitors take it. I don't think the admins should force it anywhere, but they should aid the discussions by offering the advice and opinions valued in the "old" Tangst, instead of some of the "catty" or sarcastic remarks they leave.

That being said, I still come whether its changing or not. It's become a good community to me, the friendly, sometimes dysfunctional sort of family that has both charming quirks and benefits stacked side by side.

as a side note, i think i've used the word catty to describe tangst five times today.

Hey guys I like the site how its grown. People are coming everyday. They get used to the environment and it gradually evolves. It can't stay the same way forever. I say give a hands-off approach.

And I agree, the op was a fairly bad flame.

Hm, laissez-faire or government regulated? That is the question. I stand with laissez-faire. If you hate tangst, don't come back? I'm not sure it be like that, though... let's make rules?

haha. the "invisible hand" of tangst will move of back on track of course. maybe this is it at work?
