I had one of those You Only Read About It In Books moments today.

As I was experimenting with a different route to class, I saw the Most Amazing Girl I have ever seen before. Seriously. I didn't know girls like her went to Enloe. I swear, I couldn't stop staring. She just kind of...stood out. I could go on forever describing her- the way her eyes shined, the way her hips moved, the clothes she wore, the way her bag sorta of pulled her shirt up in a nonchalant way. She seemed so- cool. Cool and beautiful. She was smiling with her friends. Oh how I wanted to go up to her and say "You're an angel, my dear."

I saw her twice today, actually. But reality hit me full force as I pointed her out to my friend and he explained that yeah, she's a year younger than me (more or less- a grade below- a sophomore) and she's a really cool girl that pretty much everyone knows and likes (or in the case of myself and apparently more than a few others- loves)

I want her to myself to like. I feel like I discovered her and that she's -mine- and that no one else can have her to like.

Needless to say- I'm taking that route more often.

I've had that feeling before. It's never worked out for me.

I've had that feeling before, opposite. He's a guy, I'm a girl. I'm younger, he's older. The mystique, the never speaking, the ultimate enchantment with him.

Now? We're best friends and we're dating.

Live for your dreams, man.

i'm extremely attracted to this one guy, as is like... half of the world.
and now we're right on the verge of something happening ;)
seriously, never give up... i've ended up really close friends with half of my crushes, which in the end is better than dating, anyway!

That's how I used to feel about Ben Till. He's not as good this year, though.

There's still plenty of others I feel that way about. Tory Smith? Cam Floyd? David Kirby?

The list goes on.

Uh oh, watch out dear Tory.

i think i hear a resounding chorus of "MMM, Kirby."

mmm ben till

Oh no, not Kirby!

Admittedly, he does have a kick-ass car, but I don't think he's really your type.

He can be kind of emo/histrionic (yay for psychology!) at times.

Good luck, original poster, and I simply echo others' sentiments: live a little, you might just get lucky.

You know who else is really hot, Peter Chisnell and Reed Watson. Those guys are smokin'!

Matthew Price isn't bad looking either.

This is extremely strange, but really cool at the same time.

I have reason to believe this post is about me. Someone almost directly quoted this to me yesterday afternoon. He came up to me and said "Hey, there's this junior guy in love with you- I don't think you know him, but he told me all of these things like how you're perfect and beautiful and really cool." As a sophomore- I feel reaaaaly special to be loved by a junior. I hope it's you, original poster. because how cool would that be that we're both tangsters!

I'll try to get said friend to introduce us. It can't hurt. :D

Amazing how Heather has managed to avoid being the impetus for any raving fanstalker posts or comments... a quality that has eluded Maverick, Tinted, PChis, Hannah, and many of the rest.

It's because I don't comment under my name as often as everyone else does.

- Maverick has his raving poetry fans.
- Tinted enjoys controversy.
- PChis makes his own controversies and likes pissing people off with his radical ideas.
- Hannah writes her posts in the obvious Atlas Shrugged fanfic mode.
- The esteemable box box has his own set of fangirls and I would guess a couple of fanboys that like his technical prowess.

I just don't leave comments under my name as much as some of the other admins. I like the hands-off approach.

Oh Heather, how much I love you. I wish I could have a class with you!

oh wait.

What heather forgot was doctoranonymous. His cutting social commentary, good looks, and fantastic sense of humor make him quite a catch in anyone's eyes.

Ha.

and by hands-off she meant "laissez-faire."

DocA, you think you're funny.

But you're really not.

And I'm sure Heather has her own enormus anonymous fan base. Plus, we know all the admins/contributors are in love with her already.

Thanks Evan,

Now pardon me whilst I delete your comment.

Hold up just a minute now, DocA. We'll have none of those shenanigans in this-here korner of the blogosphere.

No sense in starting an admin war, now is there?

;-)

Oh, I was joking.
I realize that knightracer's thoughtless comment came from pure animal instinct when he felt that his prom date might be threatened.
