is it really possible to get over your first, real, serious crush??
I've dated other guys. even liked other guys. but whenever I see this guy when he comes back from college or I see him randomly on facebook...its like I never forgot about him in the first place.
why the hell is he so perfect?

oh, my first serious crush = first guy i thought i was in love with. it's hard.
he's not actually /that/ perfect, but you idiolize him as such because he was your first, which is a huge deal in the history of your development. plus he's unattainable, so you've never had a chance to really find out for yourself just how imperfect he probably is.
You probably continue to have this problem because you're so used to crushing on him. I had the same problem for a while, but once I got a girlfriend, the problem just went away.
Only way to get over it is to be friends with them.
I mean, you don't get over it, but if you can turn that crush admiration into friendly admiration, you're golden.
