Thanks to crazy WCPSS and our complete lack of ability to deal with cold precipitation, it is...
A SNOW DAY!
This means: no 3rd or 5th period exams.
This means: my lack of preparation for my English essay doesn't matter.
Today, procrastination wins.

This is actually awful.
What does this mean for the rest of exams? Seniors have to take them for college.
Does this mean they'll take Monday away from us?
Or rather that we'll just take today's exams tomorrow in addition to what we already have?
Argh! Couldn't this have waited until Tuesday?
We drove all the way to school and had to turn around.

Make up day is February 19th, according to the WCPSS calendar.
3rd and 5th period exams will be taken Friday, January 19. 4th and 6th period exams will be taken Tuesday, January 23.
Ugh. Leave it to Wake County Public Schools to take away national holidays at the drop of a hat.
right, because you actually think about the reason we have the holiday rather than just cheering for no school
Not saying I do.
I'm just saying that if every other government body is closed, schools should be too.
According to some sort of dumb (but convenient, in this case) rule, there will be no makeup day for today. Because the buses were running and actually picked people up, it counts as a school day.
But yeah, today's exams are tomorrow and the other ones are on Tuesday.
