It's more than "a couple of houses." Houses line one entire side of this part of Bertie.
But who ever looks out their front windows?
they line one side of bertie, but if you count there are still only a few, maybe 3 or 4. and i agree... few people are home during the early- or mid-afternoon and actually watching the street.
"neighborhood watch" is so passe.
