I always feel really stupid around my friends. I doubt they do it on purpose but why do I constantly feel like I have to prove myself.

Wow this reminds me of the time on that show Boy meets world when , the dumb friend, I think it was like cory or shawn or something, bought 1 volume of an encylopedia so that whe could try to be smart but he boughgt the letter z in the set so he only knew about thing that started with letter z.
actually that was Friends, Joey, and it was the letter V.
OP, i hear you. don't worry about it, i'm sure that none of your friends feel that way and you fit in fine. and you might also want to invest looking for some more friends, just to expand your horizons a bit.
its just confidence that you lack imo. take a deep breath and im sure that everyone totally enjoys who you are.
i know friends did it but so did boy meets world and i saw it on that one first.
