I like you alot, and I think you might like be back. Yet somehow I'm not sure if a relationship is totally the best thing for us...You don't seem to be totally comfortable on that idea, not that I've brought it up before...
You also dont seem that comfortable anything remotly physical, even hugs. I dont know if I could date someone who I would feel awkward even HUGGING. What action should I take? Do you want me to put you on the spot?

Try it. Odds are that he/she has already thought about it, but don't know if your cool with it too. Sometimes you have to try something new that your not 100% secure with, but believe me, it tends to work out. good luck!
This sounds a lot like my situation. I really like this guy and I think he may like me back, but I'm always hesitant to hug him because I'm overly cautious about our relationship and I don't want to send the wrong signals (ok, it's lame, sorry). Just saying, people being awkward about hugging isn't necessarily a bad sign.
As for the action thing, if you think this person may like you back then go for it. You probably don't want to pull an "OMG I'VE LOVED YOU SINCE THE DAY I MET YOU WILL YOU BE FOREVER MINE?" That's scary. Just ask this person out to something fun, like dinner or hanging out after school and check how s/he reacts. Just do it. If I was the person you liked I would LOVE to have you ask me out.
