I really cant decide who I want to support in the election, I don't like the democratic candidates so far but I really don't like the main base of the republican platform.

Obama is charismatic, but not especially firm in all of his veiwpoints.

Presidents with firm view points have certainly done good things for our nation espescially our current president.

Can you please list specific examples of Bush's positive accomplishments? I just want to see what they are, I'm not saying anything else.

Guys. Chill. Elections should never begin this early. Wait at least a few months more before letting political debate engulf us.

On the contrary, in this stage of the race, I'm far from cynical about the state of American democracy. Considering Guiliani won't get the Republican bid, I'll probably become more bitter as time goes on, but as it stands, I could live with several of the contenders (from either side).

Though I would like to say that if it came down to Edwards or Clinton on the Democratic front, I'd be willing to vote for pretty much any elephant (yes, that includes Romney).
