I really wish my parents would stop buying me presents. It just makes me sad that they have no idea what I really want and just buy me impersonal things that I have no space or use for and have to keep so that they don't feel bad.
I told them they didn't have to buy me anything this year (Easter really isn't the sort of holiday you need to give gifts on) and then they did anyway.

Me, too.
Too many stuffed rabbits. Too many plastic Easter eggs.
And they were there again this year.
I wish my parents wouldn't have gotten me so much chocolate for Easter-- seriously, I can't eat it all.

My parents stopped giving me gifts for Easter a long time ago.
I kinda wish they would though, to surprise me.
At my house the "Easter Bunny" visits and leaves us chocolate and other candy.
I can't say that I much mind.
