I hate ignorant people, like Barack Obama, who go around spreading misinformation like "surgeons get paid $50,000 for a leg amputation," when Medicare actually pays them "between $740 and $1,140 for a leg amputation."

Other ignorant people who support Obama will quote him word for word and spread this misinformation everywhere. News networks like CNN report that Obama's healthcare reform plan is wonderful, but they don't actually check the facts behind Obama's statements. It makes me so sad that people can be so easily lead.

The point is not whether Obama's plan is actually a good one or not -- but if it is a good plan, why does he invent statistics that can damage "the all-important trust between surgeons and their patients"?

I hate ignorant people, like Sarah Palin, who go around rousing fear in everyone by saying shit like 'death panel' when its not true. Other ignorant people who support her will copy her word for word and spew it everywhere. Then news channels like FOX start to report that everyone is outraged, but they don't understand WHY they are outraged. It makes me so mad that people like that exist.

25 million dollars raised in support of Proposition 8? Sad.

I oppose it anyhow, but even if you don't - all of that money could be spent on something worthwhile. Darfur, hurricane victims, orphans in third-world countries, whatever. Any of those would be a better use of that much money than opposition of gay marriage.

This election isn't about the first African American to become president. This election wasn't about the first woman to become president either. This election is about defending our country from the encroachment of our most basic dignities and it is about the preservation and renewal of our stature in the world. Fellow citizens, you shouldn't vote for Obama just because you want a African American president and you shouldn't have voted for hillary just because you wanted a Female president; you should have picked a candidate based on your love for your country, your love for your freedoms and your love for your right to a lovable future. Hillary supporters switching to McCain will not give us a better future. "Punishing" the Democratic party for "sexist treatment" is not what the country needs nor is what this election is about. This election is historic, just like every other, but this election is first and foremost about this country, not about an African American or a woman.

tonight we have the opening night of our school play, "The Laramie Project".

and guess what? Fred Phelps (reportedly) and his congregation, the Westboro Baptist Church from Kansas is coming... to picket us. They're picketing like 9 churches (just in time for all the masses) and then picketing outside our school Saturday night and the Sunday matinee show.

Basically, they just want to get a rise out of people so that they can get into an argument (hopefully a physical one) and the people can sue us. That's how they get their money to do this.

What the fuck must be going on their heads? "God hates fags"; "God hates Jews"; "the gays caused hurricane katrina"... seriously, i'd like to ask the guy what the fuck is wrong with him, and without giving him a chance to preach any more religious crap to me (i've been approached by jehovah's witnesses three times this week) ... i'd like to knock him out cold.


but at the same time, i kind of just want to have a conversation with him, and see if he was like beaten as a child or something, and if that's what caused his ridiculous ideology.


i really hope our school doesn't make a spectacle of itself... i hope we become models to how the rest of the nation should be. I hope no one starts a fight, or eggs him, or anything. i hope we get the strength to walk by coolly (maybe make a snarky comment or two), and just ignore that fucker until he just goes home.
