Today was my first election! The poll workers congratulated me over and over again and gave me a souvenir "I Voted" sticker. They thanked me for participating in the democratic process. I think I'm going to like voting for the rest of my life.

Yeah... until you watch the democratic system run its course, and the results to tell you that the masses have decided that you are wrong, and elect some big stupid.. er...
I worked the election and voted for the first time yesterday. what fun. we sat around for most of the day, seeing as less than 10% of our precinct's registered voters turned up. $105 for sitting around doing nothing. you gotta love our government.
I've got my voter card just waiting in my wallet. I absolutely can't wait.
