there's a girl in my younger brother's class who wants him to ask her to the 8th grade formal. he is oblivious, and doesn't even really want to go to the dance. she has liked him since kindergarden. how the heck to i get him to ask her???

Well... you can suggest that this girl enlightens your brother to her feelings. You probably should not tell him, as this doesn't directly concern you. If he doesn't want to take her... or go to the dance at all, there's really nothing you can (or should) do to "make him" think otherwise.

Haha. That's pretty awesome. I don't have an older sister, but if I did, I would want her to be like you. Just casually suggest it.

Dude, if he's not interested why the heck should you make him ask her?

Let the poor kid alone and worry about girls when he's old enough to do so on his own. Trust me, he'll have his fill of girl problems then.
