I can't help but feel that all these polling questions are cheap, sure-fire ways to get on the "Popular Posts" list.
I wonder if other admins feel that way too.

Post anything that you want - a story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love - anything. Post twice if you'd like. And then share the site with your friends.

Maybe they're just honestly curious questions? I think the opportunity to reply to them and see all the others is interesting.
Hey, man, if you want to get on the popular post list that's cool with me.
heee. irony.
i like them.
i'm not an admin, but i sure feel that way.
I kind of like them. I think it sparks new conversation and interest.
aw, I didn't know I wasn't supposed to ask questions (I'm responsible for the stalking question). I just thought it would be more interesting/funny than what usually goes on here which is either a)"poetic romantic recount"
or b) "I do something weird that no one knows about"
I mean, what's there to say to stuff like that? "aw how cute"? "uh yeah, you ARE weird"?
Just for the record (for whoever OP is), I didn't even know that the popular post list existed when I posted it.
I agree with the OP. Though, I must say that I do enjoy reading them.
The stalking one was funny, but I see the op's point. The question posts make tangst seem like... a chat room. I mean, they're fun, but they also take up space. I'd rather keep those off, but that's just my opinion.
i like the polls, but when there get to be too many (aka more than one or two in a day), it starts getting annoying or overwhelming. they're fun to read though, like the other people said.
Hm... I really don't agree with the OP at all. Does that list even get updated these days? I thought it was kind of a defunct thing. Anyway, if people want to get on the most popular post lists then does that really matter? Just let them. I like the interactive-ness of a question.
i just wanted to see how many different people actually read tangst regularly.
^You are not the OP.
Because I definitely am.
^ they probably meant op of the other topic, and based on their comment, they're probably op of the counting post. no harm no foul?
