Sadly, it gets harder before it eases up; just ride it out and keep with it.

If you're applying to a thousand schools, rethink that. If you're trying to do 36 hours of work in a 24 hour day, find something to cut back on.

I'd be happy to read college essays and offer some tips and advice

I would sooner give my essays to Dr. Bell than matthew.

Senior year was harder than my Junior year. December to January is probably the hardest. You're just going to have to tough it out.

Yeah, things are hard before they're easy. But it's worth it. Your freshman year of college will be a breeze once you master your senior year of Enloe-- a stiff breeze, but still a breeze.

I must disagree swalest'shooth, my classes are a good deal more difficult than Enloe.

Well, I agree with swalest'shooth personally; mine are much easier to handle overall than Enloe, and I'm not exactly slacking.

I wouldn't say that the classes themselves are necessarily easier...

But I do think that my...erm...renewed work ethic has certainly helped. I mean, I've been putting in around 15 hours of out of class work per week.

But the thing is, because you're almost never in class, a workload like that is much easier to manage. Thus, while the work itself might be more difficult, you have more time to get through it.

^ Yes, that's kind of what I meant. I guess I shouldn't have used the word "breeze"; classes are still challenging, but there's a lot more time to do work for them. You no longer have seven or eight frantic classes a day, just two or three more focused classes with days in-between to do homework and study. College is a more relaxed atmosphere in which to learn than high school.

Of course, this only holds true for freshman year. I've heard horror stories from college seniors about the workload, but I'm trying not to think about that now.
