Does it matter? If the relationship dies and is never rebirthed, well... then it was never meant to be. Sorry. Just means there's something better out there for you.

when should someone start "sweating that" when does the "soulmate thing" start becoming an issue? why not in college?
well depends on when in college the poster is currently experiencing. because there is a long time between freshman year and marriage age, i daresay. I mean of course some people marry their high school sweethearts, but.... at the same time, most people don't. I say don't worry about it and let what happens happens, just like that tape in psychology.
