*le sigh*
I love Love.

But why the hell is it that once you're "taken" you get hit on, called, or flirted with by other members of the opposite [or same...whatever you like] sex??

This is frustrating.

its because people go for who they can't have. its an interesting trend at enloe. rarely do two people match up.

I'm not sure if it's just at Enloe.

mmhm wow i know from experience that you want something more if you can have it.... so basically relationships in highschool don't work... haha

And they might now even realize they are doing it. It is kindof subconcious, so even if they don't know that you are taken, they still go after you.

Just be glad to feel loved.

Is there any future in time travel?

I think it's more of the fact that we feel more comfortable with people that we can't or won't have. Disregaring the girls that have boyrfriends, if you don't have a girlfriend then almost every girl can be a potential girlfriend. If someone's taken then you can flirt without much of a chance of it being taken as more than flirting.

In reverse, it could be that once you're in a relationship, it makes you feel more desireable and thus makes you more comfortable flirting with other people. Not that anything comes of this, if the relationship is a good one, but perhaps an answer.

because your a nazi. Oh wait wait thats not right what i meant to say was that its because people only want what they cant have. Its easier to desire something when you see someone else enjoying it. I find myself wanting a girl only when she has a boyfriend then i laugh and say thats silly i not a lesbian.

Also, you become more acute to it, it doesn't necessarily occur more. That's kind of a rule of thumb for lots of things, actually.

As Hannah seems to be absent for this one... I enact Godwin's Law! If you don't know what it is, wikipedia it or find Hannah's post with the link. Somewhere in this mad, mad forum...
