Post anything that you want - a story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love - anything. Post twice if you'd like. And then share the site with your friends.

perhaps it hurts more because you know there's someone lurking behind that anonymous label thinking those thoughts.
it irks you because they could be your closest friend, or someone from australia or the middle east, but you'll never know, just like they'll never know who you are. it's an interesting situation, this anonymous coexistence.
Sometimes, I find it interesting that people who treat me civilly when I'm knight_racer turn acid when I post anonymously.
I think that tangst would pose a uniquely singular basis for a psychological study on social norms. Too bad the General Policies forbid that kind of thing.
Back to the plight of the OP, my advice to you would be to let it slide. While some might actually harbor malicious thoughts about your tangsting, others may feel compelled to attack because of the protection anonymity provides them.
