I honestly hope to God that she doesn't remain valedictorian. I absolutely cannot stand her.

any person who lies that much on an application should be shoved off the planet. YOU should be ashamed of yourself.

She's no evan wu guys.

Nope. Not me. But I like how I was the only self-nominated one from the entire school. Way to have initiative, guys.

Guys, A is not that bad. Seriously.

Another person self-nominated. Her name starts with an M.

A won't get it though because they'll see that her "sport" doesn't really count.

Thank God S didn't get it. I would've cried.

I hope K becomes valedictorian. She deserves it.

I like A fine. I have no problem with her being valedictorian, however it is true that she is not well rounded.
I am also thrilled that S did not get it - her sport doesn't really count either.

I think someone named B self-nominated too, but his last name isn't T if thats what ur wondering

and yea, K>A

i know this is supposed to be anonymous... but who is anon1?

Personally I like A a lot. I know that's not popular. Don't tell the indian girls I hang out with.

I like A too..

the B 1who self nominated himself got it too

A has no integrity and doesn't deserve to be val or get the morehead. She states that she would cry if she had to go.
I hope K beats her, she deserves it more than anyone.

I dunno, I'd take it pretty hard if I didn't get into anywhere better than UNC too.

put the thing is... w/ the morehead, u have to really want to go to unc, like that's part of the judging criteria...

and if she would cry if she had to go there.. then i can't say that she wants to go there that much...

i wonder how she BS'ed that part (unless the tears are tears of joy)

OK im seriously so damn sick and tired of this.

did you look at anyone's application?

youre acting as though they all sent you personal copies of it so you could review it and tell what all was BS.

and unless you're fit to recieve the application yourself, you have no right to bitch and moan about others.

^ I'm fit to "receive" the application, as you put it. However, I chose to not apply 'cause I'm not considering the school at all. And unlike certain candidates in the application pool, I'm not a recognition/award whore. There's more to life than getting accepted to a dozen colleges you'd never really consider attending just 'cause they've got expensive names and graduating _high_school_ with a single-digit class rank.

Just because you apply to scholarships, does not make you a recognition/award whore.
You've obviously got your definitions a little crossed.
Morever, you might feel like there's 'more to life', and there is. But some feel like to experience life at its fullest, one must achieve through tremendous amounts of work, and recieving scholarships is only part of it.

And please.

If you haven't actually read the damn application of someone, don't comment on it. Obviously what your writing is based purely on fiction and is 99.9% libelous.

^ Applying to scholarships that you know you'll never use does make you a whore. It's basically stealing opportunities from people who could stand to use them. Some people actually do need to earn money to attend schools, and consider scholarships more important than just another mark for the trophy wall. Think about it that way.

i kind of agree that u know, we never really saw her application so we should reserve judgement somewhat, Although most negative things i've hear about her/appl is pretty believable

but if someone can quote her as saying that she would cry if she had to go to UNC, then she has no buisness applying for the scholarship, because there is no way that she would have to go to unc

So how many of you actually know what she put on her application, or even know her at all? It's really cruel what some people have said here, and I just wish you would think first before you say things maliciously.
