Of course you were joking. Of course I was joking back. Of course I love him and would never leave him.
But if I had to have an affair, it would undoubtedly be with you. It would be very easy to let myself fall in love with your smiles.

No one can control how they feel about people. You joke about it and don't let it bring you down, but at the same time you realize and he realizes that you love who you're with so no harm done.
As long as you don't have that affair or neglect your boyfriend for your friend, I'd say you're living in a very good condition.
I'd also say you're a good person.
