Here are some words

Photosynthesis

Would her eye blink,
The sound would be a whisper to her frenzied footsteps
So black a blanket she wraps ‘round her ancient Mother
The waves (both shoes and shore) hurl her masochistic tears toward heaven.
And Grendel’s teeth do gnash in kind

Second hand smoke echoes second hand shine
Bidding apocalyptic turpentine
And that same fire, that brilliance, that ire
Blinds the sky with blood of dawn
And Hyperion’s gaze so fierce flares on

Accelerated ambition, shadowless and brave
Mature both in lens and length
A whisper to the grave
This is the din in your mouth
And this is the double helix spiraling towards the sky

I salute the appropriately poetic introduction "here are some words."

I want to reword this how I would do it. This is unimaginably rude with someone else's poetry, but hey, I'm anonymous :D

Carnival

Would her eye blink,
The sound would whisper to her frenzied footsteps
O black blanket: she wraps ‘round her ancient Mother
The waves (both shoes and shore) hurl her heavy tears toward heaven.
And Grendel’s teeth do gnash. That noise.

Smoke, echo, second-hand-shine
Bidding apocalyptic turpentine
And what fire, what brilliance, that ire
Blinds the sky at blood of dawn
And Hyperion’s gaze (so fierce!) flares on

Swift ambition, shadowless and brave
Mature both in lens and length
A whisper to the grave
First is the din in your mouth
And this is the double helix spiraling out the sky

Ironically enough this group of words is partially the offspring of some coconspirators and myself. Chopping up stanzas and rephrasing to a theme of photosynthesis: Water, Sun, Growth. Youre only taking it a step further, not rude by any means.

Well Maverick you've done it again.
I like it a lot...
understand it I do not, so much.

I think I'll start putting some poetry of my own up here. Just to hear people h.ate it and reword it will do me a world of good.

Think of it this way:

Hurricane (water)

The fight between Apollo and the titan Hyperion for control of the sun. (sun)

The exponential growth of mankind (growth)
