most of my ex gf/bf are completely awesome. i dont hate any of them and i still talk to all of them. granted, its only 3 guys, but still.

Yeah, don't let hatred rip you guys apart. If anything, just don't hang out together. If that's not an option, deal with it without being awkward, it's great to go back to being friends.
It's happened half the times for me anyways.
after I broke up with my girlfriend, we became much closer friends than we had ever been before...breaking up is not always a bad thing.
